The National Security Guard conducted a mock security exercise at Birla Temple, on Tuesday night, as part of its continuous efforts to enhance preparedness and response capabilities at sensitive and high-footfall locations.
The exercise aimed to validate standard operating procedures, assess threat response mechanisms and strengthen coordination among security stakeholders in
the event of a terror-related contingency.
The mock scenario involved simulated threat conditions to test rapid intervention, area domination, evacuation and neutralisation procedures in a religious and public place setting.
Highly trained NSG commandos demonstrated swift deployment, tactical movement and effective threat containment during the exercise.
