National conference on aerospace in Hyderabad

The 11th National Conference and Exhibition on Aerospace and Defence Related Mechanisms (ARMS-2018) was organised by APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex and ISRO in association with Indian National Society for Aerospace and Related Mechanism (INSARM), Hyderabad chapter and BITS Pilani, Hyderabad here on Friday.
The theme of the conference was ‘Advances and Challenges in Aerospace and Defence related mechanisms’.

S Somnath, Director, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), ISRO, gave a brief history about the design and development of aerospace and defence related mechanisms at ISRO. He also emphasised the objectives of INSARM and ARMS, a knowledge sharing platform for all scientists and engineers.
