Nampally court convicts five men for harassment near Charminar

The Hyderabad She Teams secured the conviction of five men for recently harassing women at the Charminar.

During surveillance operations, the team caught men allegedly engaging in eve-teasing and inappropriate physical contact with women in public



places.

The offenders were nabbed on the spot and booked under BNS and City Police Act.

A court in Nampally convicted all five persons and sentenced each of them to three days of simple imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 1,000.
