Due to an increase in inflows into the Musi Project, the reservoir gates may be opened at any time as a precautionary measure, depending on the inflow levels.
The current water level in the Musi Reservoir reached at 638.30 feet, against the Full
Reservoir Level (FRL) of 645 feet.
The reservoir currently holds 2.84 TMC of water against its total storage capacity of 4.46 TMC. Authorities have urged residents of the affected villages not to enter the river and to stay away from nearby areas.
