theatres soon, the industry now awaits strict police intervention to curb this persistent threat.

Ravi was arrested by Hyderabad police in November 2025 at an apartment in Kukatpally after a long-term investigation into digital piracy. 

He is accused of managing a network of over 65 mirror websites that distributed high-definition pirated copies of new films, causing heavy financial losses to the film industry.
