Movement of a leopard sparked panic among villagers in Somagudam and Dubbagudem villages in Kasipet mandal on Thursday.

Villagers said they noticed pugmarks on the outskirts of the two villages and urged Forest officials to take immediate steps to track the leopard’s



movement and prevent any human casualties. 

They said they were hesitant to carry out farm activities following the movement of the wild animal in the area.

Forest officials said steps had been taken to track the leopard and avert human loss.
