Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari said in order to provide free education from KG to PG to the poor, the TRS government was establishing residential schools in a massive way.
Speaking at the three-day School Principals Conclave, organised by Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS), which began here on Wednesday, Kadiyam said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has announced the establishment of 255 residential schools for children from various marginalised communities on the 125th Birth Anniversary of



Dr BR Ambedkar. 
The Deputy Chief Minister said by 2017-18, about 4.5 lakh students will get education from 700 residential schools in the State which in itself is a massive achievement in the field of school education. He said the government was spending Rs 3 crore on each school to impart education and added that as many as 14,000 various jobs were provided under teaching and non-teaching posts in residential schools. Kadiyam has urged the school principals to ensure quality education and to uphold the trust of Chief Minister.
