In a major relief for the general public and the farming community, who have been waiting with bated breath for the Southwest Monsoons to gain strength, the India Meteorological Department (IMD), New Delhi on Thursday indicated that monsoons will revive its march across Telangana from Tuesday, June 23.
“The Southwest monsoon is likely to advance into some more parts of Telangana, Odisha, Jharkhand Bihar, and some parts of Chhattisgarh around June 23, June, 2026, the IMD, New Delhi weather bulletin said.
According to the latest bulletins from IMD, New Delhi,
atmospheric conditions have turned favorable, setting the stage for the monsoon to regain momentum and advance across the remaining parts of the state over the next four to five days.
While the monsoon’s Northern Limit has been hovering near Hyderabad and Bhadrachalam, the meteorologists from IMD are now projecting a definitive shift in weather patterns.
The IMD’s forecast points to a decisive turning point on June 21, when the present isolated rainfall activity is expected to transition into ‘widespread’ rainfall across multiple regions of Telangana.
