Mobile thief injured after he tried to attack DCP in Chaderghat

A mobile phone snatcher was injured when police opened fire on him after he attempted to attack the Deputy Commissioner of Police (South East) on Saturday afternoon.

According to reports, the suspect had tried to snatch a mobile phone and, when



police tried to nab him, he attempted to attack the officers. At this point, DCP (South East) S Chaitanya Kumar fired one round at the suspect.

The police then shifted the injured robber to a private hospital for treatment. Further details are awaited.
