Miyapur police rescue businessman abducted over Rs 10 crore dispute

A businessman was kidnapped at gunpoint from Miyapur following a financial dispute with his business partners. He was later rescued by the Madhuranagar police at Ameerpet.

According to the police, three persons approached the businessman Manoj Kumar (44) at Miyapur while he was on a morning walk. 

The businessmen first took him to an office at Yellareddyguda and asked him to settle the



issue of Rs 10 crore.

The kidnappers later took him to Ameerpet in a car and forced him to arrange the amount immediately. “Manoj Kumar called up his wife and asked her to arrange the amount. 

His wife informed the police on Dial 100 that her husband had been kidnapped. A police team raided the place where Manoj Kumar was held and rescued him,” said an official of Madhuranagar police station.
