Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) here on Thursday arrested Mirdoddi police station Home Guard Erikoti Santosh Kumar in Siddipet district for accepting a bribe of Rs.10,000. It caught Kumar red-handed when he allegedly took bribes from three persons apart from the complainant. 

He took Rs. 3,000 from Bejugama Raju, a farmer, while Rs.2,000 from a businessman Chennai Shekar,



Rs.3,000 from a wine shop worker Nerella Raju and Rs.2,000 kept with the complainant. The bribe was demanded for doing an official favour for releasing an accident vehicle and for not to register any case against the complainant The ACB officials recovered the bribe amount and produced the Home Guard before the special court for ACB cases in Nampally after which the court remanded him to judicial custody.
