Minor girl raped and murdered in Nalgonda

A minor girl was allegedly raped and murdered by a tractor driver in the town on Tuesday. According to police sources, the girl was reportedly in love with the accused, Gaddam Krishna, a tractor driver from Gutta Kinda Annaram village, for the past few months. 

Preliminary investigations reveal that Krishna intercepted her around 8:30 am while



she was en route to college.

He convinced her to accompany him to a friend’s room on Shamsnagar Road Number 8, where he allegedly assaulted her sexually before strangling her to death in a fit of rage, possibly after an altercation. 

The incident sparked widespread uproar, with the victim’s family resorting to protests.
