Minor girl injured in attack by monkeys in Medak

A troop of monkeys attacked a six-year-old girl in Narsapur town on Wednesday morning while attempting to snatch her lunch box. The victim was identified as Joshnavi.

Carrying her lunch box, the girl was proceeding to board her school bus when the monkeys attacked her and took away the lunch box. In panic, the



child fell on the road. The bus driver and her parents rushed to her rescue and saved her from further harm.

She was immediately rushed to the area hospital in Narsapur for treatment. Narsapur has witnessed multiple monkey attacks in recent times. Despite several attempts, officials have failed to restrict the menace.
