Minor boy drowns into well while plucking fruits in Karimnagar

A 12-year-old boy from Mallareddypalli in Veenavanka mandal, Eernala Raju, drowned in a well after he fell in it while plucking Indian jujube fruits from a tree.

Raju, a Class VI student, accidentally fell into the well on Tuesday evening



while plucking the fruits from a tree adjacent to it and drowned.

The body was retrieved from the well on Wednesday.

Police have registered a case and are investigating. The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem.
