Minor Boy Dies as lorry hits bike in Mancherial

A 12-year-old boy was killed on the spot and his father sustained serious injuries when a lorry rammed into their two-wheeler at Katterashala village in Chennur mandal on Monday night.

Police said Kummari Yogi from Algam village in Kotapalli mandal received grievous injuries when the lorry hit the bike, leading to his



instantaneous death. 

His father Rajaiah was also injured in the mishap and was immediately shifted to a hospital in Chennur town, where his condition was reported to be critical.

Based on a complaint lodged by Yogi’s mother, police registered a case against the lorry driver and initiated investigation.
