Minor Boy Dies 15 Days After Stray Dog Chase Injury In Rajanna Sircilla Dist

A pall of gloom descended following the tragic demise of a seven-year-old boy, who died while undergoing treatment for injuries sustained during a stray dog chase here in Thangallapally mandal headquarters in Rajanna Sircilla district. 

The victim, identified as Aditya, breathed his last at a private hospital on Wednesday night after battling for his life for over two weeks. The incident occurred 15 days ago when Aditya was playing near his home. 

A pack of aggressive stray dogs



reportedly spotted the child and began chasing him. Paralyzed with fear, the boy attempted to sprint away but tripped and fell violently. 

The impact of the fall caused a severe internal head injury, leading to a blood clot in the brain.

Aditya’s family immediately shifted him to a private hospital, where he remained under intensive care. 

Despite the best efforts of the medical team, his condition deteriorated over the last 48 hours, and he was pronounced dead.
