Minor Boy Commits Suicide at his home in Chandanagar

A nine-year-old boy died allegedly by suicide at his residence near Rajinder Reddy Colony in Chandanagar, on Tuesday evening. 

According to Chandanagar assistant sub-inspector S Anjaneyulu, the deceased was studying in the fourth grade in a school located within Chandanagar police limits. 

The incident came to light



around 5.30 pm, when the mother of the deceased found him unresponsive in the washroom.

The incident occurred just a few minutes after he returned home from school. “His mother was preparing snacks for him and thought he had gone to the washroom. When he did not come out for a long time, she tried knocking and calling his name out,” the ASI said.
