IT and Industries minister KT Rama Rao on Friday unveiled electric vehicle EV policy in Telangana, the third state having the EV policy after Gujarat and Delhi. The policy was announced by the state government on Thursday at MCRHRD Institute.

As indicated by the EV strategy, street charge has been excluded and the enlistment expenses for the principal bunch of two lakh electric bikes, 5,000 electric vehicles, 20,000 electric business vehicles and 500 electric transports has likewise been taken out. 

The approach additionally says that out of the 5,000 electric vehicles, half of them will be saved for business purposes like taxis. A comparative advantage will likewise be accommodated the 10,000 electric light business vehicles LCVs including farm trucks.
