Medical intern ends life after injecting weedicide in Siddipet

In a tragic incident, a young woman doctor died by suicide by injecting a weedicide into her body.

 Dr Lavanya (25), who was working as an intern at the Government Medical College in Siddipet, attempted suicide on Saturday by injecting the weedicide.

She



was initially treated in Siddipet and later rushed to a hospital in Hyderabad for further treatment. 

However, she succumbed on Sunday night. The police registered a case in connection with the incident. The reasons for her decision to end her life were not immediately ascertained.
