MBA student commits suicide at her hostel

Hyderabad: A second year MBA student allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her hostel at Kompally on Saturday midnight.

The student, identified as Aneesha Chowdhary, was studying at Siva Sivani Institute of Management, Kompally.

“She committed suicide by hanging



herself to the ceiling in her hostel room. The incident came to light when her friend alerted the staff, who in turn informed the police,” said Ravi Chandra, Inspector, Petbasheerabad.

The body was recovered and the relatives were informed. A case has been booked and the probe is on.
