The Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) Department has accorded administrative sanction of Rs 77.31 crore for upgrading and maintaining 404 traffic signals within the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits.
On Thursday, the MAUD Department issued a Government Order (GO) stating that, based on the GHMC Commissioner’s
proposal, administrative sanction had been accorded for Rs 77.31 crore towards the operation and maintenance of the existing 404 traffic signals and the Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning (SITC) of new traffic signals for a period of three years.
The GHMC will invite tenders through the e-procurement platform for executing the works, the GO said.
