Ganesh Idol Damaged As Lorry Rams Into Container Truck at Siddipet.

A container lorry carrying a huge Ganesh idol from Dhoolpet, Hyderabad, meant for Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations was hit by another lorry on Thursday morning, causing the idol to topple over and sustain damage. 

The accident occurred on Pragnapur Ring Road in the district. According to reports, the driver of the lorry carrying the idol had stopped the vehicle on the roadside after noticing that the idol might hit a signboard near the



Pragnapur flyover. 

As the lorry was parked, another lorry coming from behind at high speed rammed into it from the rear. 

The impact also pushed the lorry into a car that was ahead of it, damaging the vehicle as well. 

The driver of the lorry reportedly sustained minor injuries in the accident. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
