MANUU students call protest against Telangana govt

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) students have called for protest against the Telangana Congress government’s attempt to resume 50 acres of university land here on Wednesday.

MANUU Students Collective is to organise a rally from the Central Library to Bab-e-Ilm on the campus.

The State government has recently issued a show cause notice on the university asking why it should not take back 50 out of 200 acres land that was allotted in 1998, citing violation of the rules.
