Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) on Tuesday launched artificial intelligence-based audio-visual lessons for its distance mode learners. With this, the MANUU has become the first Indian university to use AI for developing audio-visual lessons in Urdu.
Towards this, a two-day national workshop-cum-orientation programme was held on January 12 and 13. The programme attended by more than 100 participants from all over the country included coordinators of
learner support centers (LSCs), regional directors (RDs), assistant regional directors (ARDs)and other teaching and non-teaching staff of the university.
The main objective of the programme was to train and provide orientation to the coordinators of MANUU’s learning support centers about various processes involving distance and online education. The workshop also aimed at building a bridge between LSC coordinators, RDs, ARDs and MANUU teaching and non-teaching staff.
