Mancherial police book case over circulation of fake Rs 500 notes

A case was registered against unidentified persons for circulating fake currency notes in Luxettipet town on Friday.

Police said a case was booked after detection of counterfeit currency notes at different commercial



establishments in the town, and investigations were taken up. 

It is learnt that the police detained three persons from Itikyala village for their suspected role in circulating counterfeit currency notes. Further details are awaited.
