Man Undergoing Mental Health Treatment Ends Life in Malkajgiri

A 37-year-old man, who had been undergoing treatment for a mental illness for the past six years, died by suicide at his mother’s residence in Habeebnagar under the Sanathnagar police station limits.
The deceased was identified as Mohammed Noor, a driver who was living with his wife and children at Malkajgiri.
According to police, he was receiving treatment
for a mental health condition at the Institute of Mental Health, Erragadda.

Police said Noor recently shifted to his mother’s house in Habeebnagar after facing difficulty finding work in Malkajgiri.
Unable to contact him, family members went to the house and knocked on the door. Finding no response, they broke open the door and found him dead.
