Man mistakenly declared dead at Mahabubabad hospital wakes up in mortuary

In a shocking incident, a patient who was mistakenly declared dead and shifted to the mortuary at the Mahabubabad district hospital late on Wednesday night was found alive by a hospital staff member the next morning.

According to hospital sources, an unidentified man arrived at the hospital on Wednesday night seeking emergency treatment for an undisclosed ailment. After examination, the doctors on duty presumed he had died around 10 pm and



shifted the body to the mortuary as per protocol.

However, during routine cleaning on Thursday morning, a sweeper entering the mortuary was startled to notice the man’s body moving under the white sheet. The worker immediately alerted the duty doctor, following which the patient was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Hospital officials said the man is currently in critical condition but showing signs of recovery
