Man Kills Wife by Setting Her on Fire in Nallakunta

A woman was allegedly killed by her husband after he set her on fire in the Nallakunta area in the early hours of Wednesday, December 24.

The accused, identified as Venkatesh, reportedly attacked his wife, Triveni, at their residence while their children

were present.

When their daughter attempted to intervene, she was pushed aside.

Hearing Triveni’s screams, neighbours rushed to the spot and shifted her to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
