The Bandlaguda police rescued a 30 year-old man, who was kidnapped by a group of rowdy sheeters for ransom on Sunday night.
The man Shaik Pasha, a resident of Ghousenagar in Bandlaguda police station area was walking on the road when a group of persons including one Aamir and other kidnapped him.
The gang forced him into an auto rickshaw and took him to a house at Kishanbagh where he was confined. The kidnappers then demanded his brother to pay Rs. 2000 for some expenses and the latter transferred the amount online,
the gang demanded Rs. 20,000 more.
The gang then took Shaik Pasha, in an auto rickshaw to a house in Sriramnagar colony in Pahadishareef and confined him there. On a complaint, the Bandlaguda police raided a house at Sriramnagar colony and rescued Shaik Pasha.
In his complaint, Shaik Pasha said that he was not aware of any of the members of the gang and was kidnapped purely for money. “The kidnappers who include some rowdy sheeters had beaten me and forced me to eat cigarettes for fun,” Shaik Pasha told media persons.
