A man residing in a housing society in Hyderabad has claimed that he received a warning notice from his apartment association for inviting a female colleague to his flat.
The man shared his experience in a post on Reddit’s r/Hyderabad community that also accompanied a picture of the notice allegedly issued by the apartment secretary. In the caption of his post, he explained that he had invited his female colleague over to his apartment a couple of
times in the last month for snacks, tea and dinner.
“There was no disturbance to anyone, no loud music or nuisance,” he clarified, adding: “Don’t know what to say.”
The notice stated that the management had received a few complaints over the past month that some residents were allowing female colleagues to visit their flats on weekends and weekdays, which it described as a violation of the apartment’s rules and regulations.
