Man held for harassing woman with obscene photos in Hyderabad

A man who had been repeatedly harassing a woman by sending obscene photos on WhatsApp was arrested by the Chaitanyapuri police on Friday.

According to the police, a 41-year-old woman had been receiving explicit images from her neighbour and the suspect, Nagarreddy Naga Subba Reddy (32), who lives in the same apartment

Following her initial complaint, the police warned the suspect and let him off. However, he later called the woman again and threatened that he would continue sending obscene photos unless she paid him Rs 10 lakh.

The victim again approached the police for a second time and lodged a formal complaint.
