The Hyderabad police on Monday arrested a person for committing a series of house burglaries. The arrested have been identified as Amar Sonkambale (20), a waiter in function halls and resident of Kishanbagh and native of Lathur in Maharashtra.
About 206 grams and Rs.2.14 lakh in cash, all worth about Rs.30 lakh was seized from the possession of the accused person. Sonkambale was born and brought up in Kishan Bagh of Hyderabad and his parents were from Maharashtra.
He was addicted to lavish life
like consuming alcohol, smoking cigarettes and attending pubs when he was 20 years, but his earnings were insufficient to meet his expenses.
He then planned to commit thefts to meet his expenses. So far, he was involved in three house burglaries and a POCSO case. Golconda Deputy Commission of Police G Chandramohan said a burglary was reported in a house on May 6 at Hindinagar in Begum Bazaar.
Upon receiving a complaint from the house owner M. Krishna, the police booked a case and took up the investigation.
