Man hacked to death in Madhapur, personal dispute suspected

A 30-year-old man was hacked to death in Madhapur on Wednesday, allegedly due to a long standing personal dispute linked to a failed relationship.

The victim, identified as Bhaskar, a native of Warangal district, was found murdered in Ayyappa Society under the limits of the Madhapur Police Station.

According to information available, Bhaskar was earlier in a relationship with a woman from



his native village. However, her family reportedly opposed the relationship and married her to another man about three years ago. The couple recently obtained a divorce.

Police suspect that the woman’s father believed Bhaskar was responsible for the breakdown of the marriage and had developed a grudge against him.

Officials are now probing whether this animosity led to the fatal attack.
