Man found dead in Yadagirigutta

Bhongir: A man identified as Gandhamalla Ravi was found dead under suspicious circumstances in the penthouse of Alair Congress MLA Beerla Ilaiah’s residence in Yadagirigutta town.

Ravi, who along with his wife was residing as a tenant in the MLA’s penthouse, was employed at the MLA’s home for several years and was suspected to have died by suicide.

According to local sources, Ravi had recently been reprimanded by the MLA.



Ravi, a native of Saidapuram village, had gone home recently and had returned only two days ago after the incident.

Villagers from Saidapuram wondered why Ravi would choose to take his life at the MLA’s home instead of his own residence if it was a suicide.

The body was shifted to the Bhongir Government Hospital overnight for a post-mortem. Ilaiah visited the hospital following the incident.
