Man Falls to Death in Miyapur 'Lift Door Opens Without Cabin'

A 23-year-old man with a disability died after accidentally falling into a lift shaft at Janapriya Apartments in Miyapur. According to reports, the deceased was identified as Vijay Babu, son of Venkatesh. 

Vijay Babu, who lived on the fourth floor, reportedly attempted to enter the lift. However, the lift cabin was on the first floor, and due to an alleged technical issue, the lift doors opened on the fourth



floor.

Believing that the lift cabin had arrived, Vijay Babu stepped inside and fell into the lift shaft, sustaining severe injuries. His family members immediately noticed the incident and shifted him to a private hospital. However, doctors declared him dead on arrival. 

Miyapur police registered a case and launched an investigation. Police are examining whether a technical malfunction or any other issue led to the incident.
