Man ends life over harassment by money lenders in Vanasthalipuram

A tragic incident was reported in the Vanasthalipuram, where a young man died by suicide after recording an emotional selfie video.

According to available information, the victim Srikant, a resident of Saheb Nagar, had reportedly borrowed nearly Rs 2 lakh from four persons in Hayathnagar. Recently, his marriage was



fixed.

However, the money lenders allegedly threatened him saying, they would lock his house and he will not be able to get married.

Disturbed by the continued harassment, Srikant consumed unknown pesticide. Before taking the extreme step, he had also recorded a selfie video requesting his family members to take care.
