Man electrocuted while fixing banner in Kukatpally

A man was reportedly electrocuted while climbing an iron arch pole to fix a banner at Bhagyanagar Colony in Kukatpally on Tuesday.

As per available information, the middle-aged man, yet to be identified, had climbed the arch pole to fix a



banner in view of the forthcoming Guru Purnima, when the mishap occurred.

It was unclear whether he came in contact with a live electric wire or a faulty electrical grounding system.

The Kukatpally police are investigating.
