Man dies by suicide in Jeedimetla after marital dispute

A 34-year-old man allegedly died by suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his residence in Jeedimetla on Monday night, following marital issues.

The man, Ramoju Chandu, got married to Sandhya in 2017, and the couple had been residing in Gandhi Nagar, Jeedimetla. They were blessed with two daughters.

According to the police, differences developed between the couple,



following which Sandhya left for her maternal home after a quarrel with Chandu. The relatives of the man told the police that Chandu slipped into depression after the separation.

On Monday night, Chandu allegedly hanged himself from a ceiling fan. On receiving information, police reached the spot and shifted the body for postmortem examination to Gandhi Hospital. A case is registered and an investigation is going on.
