Man dies by suicide after losses in online betting in Miyapur

A 35-year-old man died by suicide after suffering losses in online betting.

According to the police, G Papaiah alias Chinna (35), a resident of BK Enclave, Miyapur, was allegedly addicted to online betting and suffered financial losses.

He had also



borrowed money and invested in betting apps expecting huge returns. However, after suffering losses, the man could not repay the loans and slipped into depression.

On Saturday night, the man hanged himself from the ceiling fan in his room and died, said the Miyapur police.
