A 55-year-old man died during a quarrel over parking a vehicle at Narsingi on Saturday night.

According to the police, the victim Akheel Khan (55) stayed at Friend’s colony in Narsingi police station limits along with his family. On Saturday night, Akheel hired a DCM vehicle to shift articles from his house to some other place. The DCM driver parked his vehicle in front of Akheel’s house and they were loading some articles when a car driver questioned them for parking the vehicle on the road and blocking the

path.

“An argument started between Akheel’s son Moin and the car driver over the issue. Later, the car driver called three of his friends and they started manhandling Moin. When Akheel intervened, the trio pushed him and the man fell on the road,” said Narsingi Inspector, Shiva Kumar.

Akheel fell unconscious and was shifted to hospital where he died while undergoing treatment. On a complaint made by the family members, the police booked a case against the driver of the car and the other persons.
