Man Commits Suicide Over Financial Problems in Chandanagar

A 50-year-old man died by suicide at his house in Chandanagar on Sunday night reportedly due to financial problems.

According to the police, Kasi Reddy Purushotham Reddy, a resident of Huda Colony in Chandanagar, stayed with his family members and worked as a driver.

On Sunday night, Purushotham hanged himself from the ceiling fan in a room in his



house and ended his life, said Chandanagar police.

His family members told the police that Purushotham had given Rs 13 lakh to one Jai Kumar Santhamma Rajan Babu seven years ago and the latter did not return the amount. Due to this, they claimed that Purushotham slipped into depression and ended his life.

The police registered a case and are investigating.
