Man booked under POCSO for sexually harassing daughter in Borabanda

Man booked by the police for allegedly sexually harassing his 19-year-old daughter at their residence in Borabanda.

According to information available, the suspect had allegedly been behaving inappropriately with his daughter for some time. 

He is accused of touching her inappropriately and subjecting her to repeated sexual harassment. The victim also alleged that he threatened



to kill her if she disclosed the abuse to anyone.

The matter came to light after the young woman informed her mother about the alleged harassment. When confronted, the suspect allegedly threatened the mother as well.

Following a complaint lodged by the mother, Borabanda Police registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and took up investigation.
