Man attacked while asleep in Attapur, case registered

 A shocking attempt to murder was reported in Suleman Nagar under the Attapur Police Station limits on Sunday.

The victim, identified as Rehan, who works at a furniture shop, was attacked while he was asleep.

According to preliminary information, an unidentified assailant suddenly launched a knife attack on the victim. Despite attempts to resist, the attacker continued the assault. The victim’s loud cries



alerted others, prompting the assailant to flee the scene.

The entire incident was captured on nearby CCTV cameras, providing crucial evidence for the investigation.

The Attapur Police rushed to the spot after receiving information and shifted the victim to a hospital for treatment.

A case has been registered, and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the suspect using CCTV footage.
