Man arrested in Vikarabad for kidnapping of minor girl escaped

A man who was arrested in a case of kidnapping a minor girl escaped from Tandur police station in Vikarabad district.

The incident occurred early this week and came to light on Thursday.

According to reports, Mohd Azeem, a barber from Delhi, came to Tandur six months ago and was working



at a salon. During his stay, he befriended a 16-year-old girl, and on Saturday kidnapped her and came to Hyderabad.

He was planning to leave for Delhi along with the girl when the police, acting on a complaint from the girl?s parents, traced Azeem in Hyderabad and arrested him. The girl was rescued.
