Man allegedly murders elder brother at Chaderghat

A suspected family dispute turned fatal, when a man allegedly murdered his elder brother following a heated altercation at Chaderghat on Wednesday.

As per information available, the incident took place in the Azampura area, behind a maternity hospital. The suspect, identified as Shaptaan Hussain, is suspected to have killed his elder brother, Hashim Hussain, using sharp objects amid long-standing family



conflicts.

Police said that ongoing domestic disputes between the brothers escalated violently, ultimately leading to the murder.

On receiving information, the Chaderghat police reached the spot and began collecting evidence.

The suspect has been taken into custody, and a detailed investigation is underway to ascertain the exact sequence of events and motive behind the murder.
