Malkajgiri Commissioner Reviews Monsoon Preparedness

The Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation Commissioner, T Vinay Krishna Reddy, has conducted a field inspection of key waterlogging-prone locations in Keesara and its surroundings here on Saturday. 

He visited Keesara Circle-1, including Laxmipuri Colony, SS Enclave, Employees Colony, Swandra (Yapral Ward), Balaji Nagar Main Road in Jawaharnagar, and the area opposite the dumping yard at Chandrapuri Colony.

During the inspection, the Commissioner



directed officials to undertake immediate catchpit cleaning at Laxmipuri Colony, Employees Colony, and Balaji Nagar Main Road. He asked officials to create an open trench at Swandra to facilitate the safe discharge of excess rainwater into Nagi Reddy Kunta during the monsoon. 

He instructed officials to expedite the culvert works near the dumping yard, ensuring proper gradient and connectivity from Malkaram Lake to the leachate pond for uninterrupted stormwater flow.
