Major Fire breaks out at mattress, sofa-making unit on Falaknuma road

A major fire broke out at a mattress and sofa-making unit located at Falaknuma road spreading panic in the area.

The fire broke out around 4.30 pm and on information, the fire tenders from Moghalpura and Chandrayangutta reached the spot and started fire-fighting operations in the commercial unit.

The fire spread rapidly due to



the presence of a huge quantity of combustible material, including bundles of cotton and cloth.

Tension escalated as an LPG cylinder godown is located close to the sofa making unit, and also a furniture shop and restaurant. The firemen are struggling to control the fire and additional fire tenders from nearby fire stations have been rushed to the spot.
