In one of the biggest e-frauds cases in the city, suspects hacked into the servers of the A.P Mahesh Cooperative Urban Bank and reportedly transferred huge amounts to different accounts.

According to the police, some persons had hacked into the servers of the bank and later logged into the main accounts before transferring the amount to more than 100 different bank accounts.

The fraud came to light of the bank officials recently and on Monday after internal verification, a complaint was made at the Hyderabad Cyber Crime police station. The police who conducted a preliminary enquiry inspected the main branch of Mahesh Bank and checked the security details and procedures adopted by the management.

The police are trying to verify the accounts  to whom the money was transferred.
