Hyderabad-based Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Relief Foundation Trust (BMJRFT), well known for its affordable dialysis services to needy patients, has achieved a unique landmark of completing 18 lakh dialysis sessions, enabling poor patients to save a cumulative of Rs 136 crore.
The Foundation, which was
established in 2009 by a group of Jain philanthropists, started its journey with a single dialysis unit at Mahaveer Hospital, A C Guards.
From serving six patients per month, the Foundation now operates 228 dialysis machines, conducting approximately 600 sessions daily across multiple centres.
