LV Prasad Eye Institute inaugurates exclusive glaucoma institute

LV Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) on Friday inaugurated its exclusive glaucoma facility at its Banjara Hills campus in Hyderabad.

Dr Sirisha Senthil, who recently was elected to the Chair of the Academia Ophthalmologica Internationalis (AOI), will head the Kalathur Venugopal Reddy Glaucoma



Institute. 

The glaucoma institute will advance cutting-edge care, education, and research in glaucoma, a press release said.

The hospital management said that the glaucoma facility is part of an overall initiative of creating ‘Institutes of Excellence and Global Resource Centres’ dealing with various major eye conditions.
